Celebrating its fifth anniversary this autumn, Aman Kyoto introduces a commemorative set of delicious chocolate creations, inspired by the resort’s very own forest garden. Flavoured with ceder sprouts, yuzu, Japanese pepper and camelia, quince, wild chestnuts that grow seasonally in the garden, Aman Kyoto’s pastry chef picks the ingredients himself, blending them with other local produce from across the region to create a refreshing yuzu ganache, a rich chestnut chocolate and a leaf shaped ‘Sansho Chocolat’ made with crushed Japanese pepper combined with indulgent cacao.

The beautiful, handcrafted chocolates make for the perfect gift this season, housed in an elegant wooden box.
