E-VOA (Electronic Visa on Arrival)

The Indonesian Immigration Agency has also launched an online pre-arrival application. The application is to be completed via a government portal operated by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and Human Rights to obtain an e-VOA - a single-entry visa that is valid for stays of up to 30 days with the purpose of tourism, government visits, business meetings, goods purchasing, or transit only. To apply for the e-VOA and to check the countries eligible, please click here.

E-custom declaration

The ECD form should be prepared at least three days prior to arrival in Indonesia. One form per family should be completed, following which a QR code will be received. It is advised to save the QR code to a mobile device or print it out ready for arrival. If you arrive at Bali customs without a QR code, you will be asked to complete the form and be required to queue again. The official form itself can be found here.

Tourism levy

From 14 February 2024, to promote responsible tourism and protect the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Bali, the Balinese government has introduced a compulsory Tourism Levy of IDR 150,000 (approximately USD 10). It is strongly recommended to make the payment ahead of arrival in Indonesia. Travellers can settle this payment via Love Bali website. Confirmation of payment will be sent out via email and scanned upon entry in all airports and seaports.

Travelling around Asia

Launch a multi-destination Aman journey in the region where it all began. With 18 resorts across 11 countries, it’s never been easier to linger for longer in Asia.

In Indonesia alone, there are four more exclusive hideaways to explore, including Amandari in the culture-rich Ubud highlands of Bali and Amankila on the island’s quiet east coast. Meanwhile, Java-based Amanjiwo transports guests to the Unesco-listed temples of Borobudur and Amanwana opens up a world of underwater adventure on a marine-rich island in the Flores Sea. For the ultimate on-water experience, the Amandira two-masted Phinisi sailing yacht skippers sea-lovers through the Spice Islands, Raja Ampat and Komodo.
