Resting alongside Amankila's Restaurant, with a panoramic view of the Lombok Strait, the Terrace Bar is an idyllic setting to linger for sunset drinks or celebrations with friends or family, accompanied by the soundtrack of ocean waves and gentle sea breeze. A lofty ceilinged space, The Bar provides an ideal location to enjoy a pre or post dining experience, or special occasion. Shisha and cigars are also available at the Terrace Bar upon request.
Amankila’s sustainable bar philosophy has resulted in cocktail syrups made from the island’s native flowers, fruits and spices, a delicious homemade ginger beer, and energising home-brewed tepache – a naturally fermented pineapple beverage.
Amankila's renowned afternoon tea and is served daily in the Terrace Bar’s shaded spaces. With a changing menu every day, traditional favourites include klepon (palm sugar-filled rice cake), pisang goreng (banana fritters), laklak (Balinese pancakes) and other homemade island treats accompanied by fresh tea and coffee for a revitalising afternoon treat.
The Terrace Bar’s varied menu and indoor-outdoor setting makes it the ideal setting to host smaller ocean-side celebrations. From colourful cocktails and canapés to simple drinks welcome drinks receptions, events are accompanied by uninterrupted views of Lombok Strait and catered to by Amankila’s dedicated team.
